Also, for the first time, the Cambridge Art Association allowed artists to take out an advertisement in their full-color exhibition booklet. All proceeds support the Cambridge Art Association, so I decided to take advantage of the opportunity.  I designed my own ad! How does it look? 😀

>New Bracelet, New Exhibition

>

Yesterday, I made a new freeform beaded bracelet to match the ‘Falling Leaves‘ necklace that’s listed in my Etsy shop! I used the same seed bead mixes, copper leaf, and toggle clasp. I think it compliments the necklace very well and it is quite comfortable to wear. I’ll be listing this in my shop this afternoon, so please check back. Next, I need to make a matching pair of earrings! 😀

Also, I have a bit of exciting news. A few days ago, I was invited to participate in a big Contemporary Bead Art exhibition in Plattsburgh, NY! The show takes place at the North Country Cultural Center for the Arts and runs November 6 – 29, 2010. I will post more details about the show (and participating bead artists) as soon as I receive them. For now, I am getting ready to make the 5-hr. drive up there (tomorrow) to deliver my beadwork! I plan to show at least 10 of my largest paintings at this show, so if you live in Upstate New York, Vermont, or Montreal, Canada, please make a point to stop by and check it out! Thanks for your interest! 😀
