5th Blogiversary Giveaway!

beaded NYC yellow taxi cab bead embroidery art car painting

Semi-beaded NYC taxi cab. Bead embroidery on felt. 13" x 4" (33cm x 10cm).

As I was beading the 2nd taxi cab for my Radio City Music Hall painting, I realized that today, my blog has turned 5 years old!  Those 5 years seem to have passed by in a New York Minute! (Check the archives to see for yourself..) Special thanks to anyone who has read my blog for that long! And, if you have just begun to follow my blog, it’s your lucky day! To celebrate this milestone, I will be giving away a free PDF copy of my Intro to Extreme Bead Embroidery tutorial. (This tutorial is currently available for sale in my Etsy shop.) Please leave a comment on this blog post, and I will randomly choose one lucky winner on Sunday, April 24, 2011. Please include your email address, so that I can contact you! Again, thank you so much for your interest in my beadwork. Here’s to another 5 years.. Back to beading! :O

  9. Congrats on your blog anniversary. 5 years is a long time in blogland. I love the way your taxi looks like it is racing down the street.

  10. Hi Diana, I haven’t followed you for five years but just the past few months after I found you when I started blogging. I’ve enjoyed seeing your works, I am always amazed at your attention to details…and your patience!

Thanks for the chance to win the PDF, I think it would be fun to get into some beading embroidery!

  11. Yay, Diana, I’d love to win! Been mulling over ordering your tutorial to light a fire under myself and try out extreme bead embroidery a la The Lone Beader. Your teaching tool cat looks so much like my Maggie! Maggie has only 3 leg, so a pose like this is perfect for disguising that little imperfection!
