I love to layer seed beads on top of seed beads in my beadwork. Doing this requires patience and perseverance. Yesterday, I stitched some cubes, triangles, and size 15 seed beads over top of the black center entrance to my sinking St. Mark’s Basilica. My beadwork is not an accurate representation of the Venetian landmark, but I think it still conveys the magnificence one feels when standing near it… Next, I used some ice blue seed beads and began layering them on top of the transparent gray that I used. Have you ever seen a blue Basilica? If not, I think you’re about to! 😀
