Cambridge Art Association beadwork Fall Salon boston harvard art exhibit free admission
Just a couple of quick announcements today. First, I am participating in the Cambridge Art Association’s 65th Fall Salon. This show is not juried, but it is an opportunity for all members of the organization to show one of their pieces. Since most of my works are already on display at Bead + Fiber Gallery in Boston, I decided to submit my very first bead painting, Flamingo Moon. If you happen to be in Harvard Square in the next couple of weeks, stop by University Place Gallery to check it out. There will be many works of art in all mediums to view & purchase!
The CAA 65th Fall Salon runs from now until Sept. 29. Please check the CAA website for hours and location! 🙂

I am also participating in the Quincy Art Association‘s 12th Annual Quincy ArtsFest! I submitted 2 of my small beaded bird paintings. If you’re in the neighborhood this weekend, do stop by and take a peek! The Quincy ArtsFest is a family event which includes art and photography exhibits, live entertainment, craft tables, games for the kids, and refreshments! The ArtsFest takes place Saturday, Sept. 19 from 10am -4pm, and Sunday, Sept. 20 from 10am – 5pm at the Richard J. Koch Park & Recreation Complex, One Merrymount Parkway, Quincy, MA. Please check the City of Quincy’s website for more information! Hope to see you there! 🙂

  1. >I do wish I could afford to fly over to the USA again and visit all my blog friends and see their work! You have come a long way since I first started reading your blog, Diana. I can visualise your creations being displayed around the world in time to come, so maybe when they reach Australia I will finally get to see them!I haven't left any comments lately, but I still visit and drool over your work. Those roller skates are absolutely fantastic! I can't begin to imagine how many hours went into making those.
