Ok, I will admit I’ve been lazy about blogging lately, but I haven’t been so lazy about beading, or have I??
Currently, I am lazy-stitching some Czech glass flowers to canvas for my beaded White House painting. I am using the green Wildfire that I got from Artbeads.com for this because of its strength. So far, this is working well, although my beading needle has seen better days…
The light green flowers (1st pic) have been in my bead stash for awhile, but the tiny blue flowers (2nd pic) are new! I got them at the Sewickley Bead Company while I was in Pittsburgh last week.
And, I finally finished beading my trees, where I added a tiny glass bird – a red robin!
After 15 weeks of working on this project, progress is finally being made in Washington! 😉
