Yesterday morning, I got an email from Freebird. She was kind enough to send me photos of my beadwork at the Focus on Fiber II exhibit! Check it out:

It is really great to see my work at an exhibit that is 3000 miles away! It’s not easy to ship my work so far away without worrying about it. I am glad it made it there safely! Also, another interesting thing that Freebird pointed out to me was that the gallery printed my real name on the wall sticker, even after I specifically asked them not to. I prefer to display my work using my artist name. It’s not easy trying to be an anonymous bead artist!

Despite that, I will say that my Time Traveler Trilogy looks wicked cool hanging in this gallery space! If you are in the Los Angeles area in the next few weeks, and you like the DeLorean in Back to the Future, do stop by & take a peek!😀

  1. >Hi Jeanne, thanks for your comment. I wouldn't care about my name except for the fact that, my pieces are signed as 'The Lone Beader'. I really don't want to put my name out there. I want to be anonymous like a street artist! Most galleries have respected that, and think its cool!🙂

  2. >Hello! Don't be disappointed that the museum printed your name. As a museum goer, I think it is almost a requirement – having a business name would make the artwork too commercial, like multiple people could be working on it. Congratulations on your success as an artist! P.S. I deleted my previous post because of poor spelling. Does anyone besides me wish for a spell checker on comments?

  3. >Hi,Congratulations! It's great to have one's effort recognized and appreciated.Wish you continuation of success.Best regards,José
