I was doing a little research & learned something they didn’t teach me in grade school. It took 8 years to build the White House from 1792 – 1800, and it was built mostly by slaves and immigrants. I wasn’t really surprised to learn these facts, but I was disappointed that my teachers never pointed them out to me.
