>Art Deco Window Hoods

It has been awhile since I posted the progress of my beaded White House! Here’s what I have completed so far:

I used long twisted white bugle beads (for the triangles) from my local bead shop and white half bugles (for the semi-circles) from the Bead Shop in London. I also used some Toho gray 15/0 seed beads I got from Artbeads.com. This gray is my new favourite colour!😀

Bead embroidery on felt. Beadwork in progress.

The window mouldings are actually made from 2 layers of bugle beads, so they really stand out! And, for some reason, they look very art deco to me… What do you think?

  1. >P.S. Oops, I meant to say that I love those gray lined gray beads. Some of the new beads are so cool! You do know it’s dollar days at Artbeads don’t you?! But wait…you can do whole-soll now!!! *L*U*C*K*Y*!!! ~winking~

  2. >You always seems to pick complicated projects – yet pull them off very successfully. I really like the way you’ve added dimension to the White House!
