>Beaded Back to the Future – Part 1

Yesterday, I worked on my Twin Pines Mall painting a bit more.
Can you see what changes I made?

Back to the Future car DeLorean acrylics Einstein dog pop art beaded Twin Pines Mall
Beaded Back to the Future DeLorean time machine.
Bead embroidery on felt & painted 16″ x 20″ canvas. Part 1 of 3.

I think I might be finished with this canvas. I have stitched my beadwork to the canvas, and I added the hanging hardware to the back… Today, I plan to start working on the second canvas. Wish me luck! 😮

Also today, I would like to let you know about a new internet tool I added to the sidebar of my blog. It is the Lijit Wijit. This tool allows you to search for all things Lone Beader right on my blog! If you type in search terms such as “freeform peyote” or “Prague”, you’ll find all the blog posts I have written about that subject. Also, if a person lands on a my blog because they Google-searched “fire truck”, the widget will offer more posts about that subject. You’ll also notice some buttons to my other sites, as well as ‘Surprise Me’ & ‘Explore’ buttons. ‘Surprise Me’ will take you to a random page from any of the sites in my network, including my Etsy shop. And, if you click ‘Explore’ you will view my entire network. There is also a little map which shows where my visitors came from, and how they got here. Basically, this tool was designed to give you more reasons to keep reading my blog, and it will offer you more opportunities to learn about me! I’m still learning how to use it, but so far, I think it rocks! Play around with it, and see what you discover about me! 😀

The Marie-Antoinette, A Real Person, A Real Award

And last but not least, I would like mention that yesterday, Bev bestowed the above blog award upon me! Thank you so much! I am honoured! For those of you who aren’t sure if I’m a real person or not, check the Lijit Wijit to see that indeed I am. 😉

Here are the Rules for the Award:

1. Please put the logo on your blog.
2. Place a link to the person from whom you received the award.
3. Nominate at least 7 or more blogs.
4. Put the links of those blogs on your blog.
5. Leave a message on their blogs to tell them.

Here are my nominations. These are bloggers I have either met or have known so long that I feel like I know them, therefore they are real!

I hope you’ll check out their blogs, and have a great weekend! 🙂

  2. >We did check Beads Unlimited out and glad to see you’re famous in our neck of the woods (in Sussex) as well. Venice – you lucky thing what a wonderful plan. We haven’t been for years now but do hope to visit soon as our friend’s mum owns an apartment in the Ghetto there and it’s so lovely. When we stay there we like to pretend we’re local, shopping in the market every day and living on pasta and Italian wines even though our Italiano is molto embarrassing.
