>DeLorean Headlights & Hood

Last night, I started beading my third Back to the Future DeLorean time machine. First, I stitched all my felt pieces together, then I stitched on some clear vinyl windows. Next, I beaded the headlights using silver-lined clear glass seed beads. I always seem to start on the headlights – they are a lot like the eyes on a person.😉

I’m also using matte-black twisted bugle beads because my goal is to make this car appear to be a lot darker than the first two. Hopefully, it will also appear to be covered in ice just like in the 1985 film. We’ll see how that goes… 😮

So far, I think it looks okay…😉

  1. >Showed your work to a friend who had never seen it before. She was in awe. She’s a new beader and was blown away by the detail in your work. This piece is no exception.Arline
