Originally, the Maxell Girl had so many more plans…
Perhaps she experienced fear…

  1. >Thanks for the comments. I must admit, I’m proud of the hair and the tights. They came out looking great:)And, those words (which are the chorus of the song) basically reveal how I feel about everything in my entire life, especially my beadwork. I have big plans for every piece I create (like I did for this piece), and they never seem to materialize quite like I envision them… Also, the ‘blank’ planet represents how I isolate myself both in art and in life. It’s not at all where I thought this piece would go, yet it represents me perfectly. Strange how that happened… :0

  2. >I love it – particularly the beads used in your hair and your tights – the colour variation is layered and textured. Absolutely fantastic. But the text…it’s rather bleak.

  3. >Yes, it is complete. But, don’t worry, I think the Maxell Girl will return. She has many voyages ahead of her, 34 of them to be exact! LOL.And, Nina, I used a silver quilting pencil for the writing and music notes, then I painted over it lightly with watercolour. I wanted the words to remain in the background:)
