>Get Smaht

>

Agent 99: Oh Max, you’re so brave. You’re going to get a medal for this.
Maxwell Smart: There’s something more important than medals, 99.
Agent 99: What?
Maxwell Smart: It’s after six. I get overtime.

This is one of my favourite quotes from Get Smart. I wasn’t even thought of yet when this comedy first aired in the mid 1960’s, but I did get the chance to watch it years later. I loved Max, who was played by Don Adams, but secretly, I’ve always wanted to lead the life of Agent 99=:)

  1. >The shoe phone seemed like such a fantasy, and now we have flip phones with a camera, that even takes video! I loved the “Get Smart” show.Another packing tip – space bags (even though the comercials are annoying) really do work.

  2. >Slap Stitck has never been my favorite kind of comedy, but sometimes I did watch Get Smart. How funny that you weren’t even thought of yet. I have children close to your age and some older. I wanted to train horses! Being a secret agent? Nah! I’d had a teacher who was and he was tolerably strange! Strange is totally not acceptable in NoWhere, Nebraska.

  3. >I remember hearing about it but I don’t remember this show… Uggggg!!!! Wonderful work though! I think I’m gonna look that show up. hehehehehe

  4. >I love Get smart too! I always wanted a shoe phone…and agent 99…forget about it…she was super hot, smart and made me want to be a secret agent for years…I even went around in middle school insiting that people call me 99! LOL

  5. >Get Smart was / is the best!Even I loved that show when I would watch it on TV Land. Or I think even Nick at night. I can’t even remember the last time I seen it.
