Yesterday, I finally finished backing my beaded fire truck. I don’t know how many stitches there are, but I’d say it’s quite a lot…

And, today, I started backing Dolly, my beaded Dalmatian. I’m using black Ultrasuede for her. As you can see, my new beading needle is starting to curve already… And, of course, I forgot to wear my thimble, and stabbed my thumb several times while I was working… *ouch*

I am so close to completing this piece. I really wanted to finish it today, but unfortunately, my job got in the way… So, you’ll have to wait at least one more day… Remember, good things come to those who wait=:)

  1. >WOW -I am so impressed with the Size of that piece and the skill you have (artistic and execution)and your speed! If I didn’t feel the need to see what you were doing every single day, I’d hide my head at my own sloth-like progress!Needless to say – your fire Engine is FABULOUS and so is Dolly! Now about your beading needle – what size and how long? the one I use is 1 1/4 inches and looks so short in comparison.PS – I started beading again and it’s all your fault! LOL – THANKS 😀 eirdre
